Another satisfied customer -1986 Ferrari 328 GTB

Thank you so much for my 328 GTB.

I was after a sensibly priced gtb for a while. Initially i wanted any colour but red.

After seeing yours online and researching you on the internet- i decided red was just fine...... I had been actively looking for a gtb for at least a year.



Its very unusual to be able to research a used car dealer and find no dirt and nothing but praise on the internet which was what i got when i googled you!

This was one of the reasons i was happy to buy blind from you. The other being how you described the car when i called (after seeing the car, i reckon you under described it!)



I am an ex-pat and bought this car to use when my wife and I return to the UK once a year.

As you know, we flew into Heathrow, came straight to collect the car and there she was looking like brand new in the showroom! It looked so perfect, in all honesty i was looking around your place to find my (already sold and paid for) car tucked away in the corner. But no- there it was gleaming in the showroom.



So within 2 and a half hours of walking through customs at Heathrow- we were in the car heading off towards Dover.

Over the next 3 weeks we racked up over 3000 miles- which were totally trouble free and an absolute delight.

We travelled UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France and back to the UK where we also toured around.



Whilst in Italy we went to the Mille Miglia, in Brescia we pulled into our hotel car park. Sat there was a very nice mondial on British plates. Sure enough in the back window was a Rardley motors decal!



Before this trip- when i mentioned what we were planning- friends would look at me wide eyed “ what, in a 28 year old Ferrari?” i was very happy to prove the sceptics wrong. The car simply never missed a beat and was surprisingly good on fuel too.



I had read before that 328s were perhaps the most reliable and usable Ferrari ever made. I also read that often a car with miles is a good thing compared to a virtually unused car. Mine had done over 50,000 miles when i collected it. I could have spent almost double the purchase price on a showroom queen with 9000 miles. I am really glad i didn’t. I bought this car to enjoy. All in all its a very good honest example which is sure to increase in value whilst being used and enjoyed.



So from both of us- thank you! You made my first Ferrari experience a dream come true. We had the best holiday of our lives- the perfect 40th birthday present!

As discussed, we are seriously looking for a 246 gt. We would love to buy one from you.
