1979 Ferrari 308 GTS FOR RESTORATION

This 1979 308 GTS has been owned by the last owner for the past seventeen years.Originally finished in silver with black hide, with factory fitted air conditioning and 7.5" wide wheels.It was repainted red in 1985 by the first owner.In 1991, FOLLOWING a valuation(!) the car was apparently damaged by a horse box, and the owners decided to take the insurance money, and not have the car repaired.Thus labelling it an"insurance total loss ".Repaired, it then passed through the hands of two further owners,until it was bought by only the fourth and last registered owner in 1995.He used the car lightly and having got the "bug"addded two other Ferrari to the "collection.Following a service-including cam belts- it was laid up two years ago.The interior trim was removed and sent away to be re-trimmed in cream hide.This trim is still in boxes in the owners garage loft space, having never been refitted to the car.He has now decided to consolidate into just one Ferrari.Please call contact us for more details.
